Thanks to All
I personally wish to thank all our authors and presenters at ThermoSense XXVIII and XXVII and XXVI, all the ones in which I have served as a Conference Co-Chair. My time at the helm is over and I appreciate all the work and support that I received.
This most recent year, I especially thank the Vendor presenters who participated at the ground-breaking Monday evening sessions. It looks like we have a new winner there and the kudos need to go to Andres who both conceived the idea, but worked to make it a great success this year.
To the Steering Committee, the Chairs and Co Chairs of the sessions and the very hard working staff at SPIE, especially Pat Wight, go my thanks and congratulations on a job well done for 2006 at ThermoSense XXVIII.
To Jon Miles, our outgoing lead chair and to Katie Knettel, our incoming lead chair, a warm appreciation for a wonderful conference in 2006 and another "Job Well Done" kudo. You worked so hard behind the scenes, you made it look easy out front. To Doug Burleigh and Elliot Cramer, my thanks, too, for being such great mentors. Herb, Vlad, Ermanno, Piotr, Timo and the other committee members deserve special thanks for all their help and ideas.
To the indominable Andres Rozlosnik and his magic email and telephone, I wish also to offer a special hearty thank you and ask that you continue your fine suppport and help in making the ThermoSense Conference a success every year. It wouldn'y be half as much fun and success with you. Your outgoing spirit, easy way with people and attention to detail are three of our biggest resources.
Katie, Jon & Vlad have their model set for them for next year and I am sure they will continue to receive not only the help and papers from this fine community of scientists, engineers, thermographers & technologists, but their encouragement as well.
See you all in 2007.

PS-as acting webmaster, I encourage you to ask questions, if you have any, about access and contributions on our website. Also, you can help publicize the ThermoSense Conference by asking your company webmaster to link to us on your site and add our syndicated news (RSS or XML) on there, too. See www.TempSensor.net to see how it looks (it's on the right hand side of the home page)
I'll be posting some info FAQs from time to time, so check them, too. Your questions will help me decide just what are the FAQs.
Meanwhile, you can register to become a "registered" user; that enables you to contribute. We are seeking a few editors and editor/moderators to keep an eye on the inputs and the forums; they are open to view, but require approval for each posting. That's an extra job for which you get twice the pay as our Committee members ;>).
