A Daily Resort Fee of $5.30 per room has been instituted by the Orlando World
Center Marriott to replace many items that guests were previously charged for.
As well, the resort fee enables the hotel to offer an innovative Resort Calendar
of Events that changes daily, based upon guest needs. The daily resort fee also
includes unlimited use of the Fitness Center, various recreational activities,
unlimited local and toll-free (800#) phone calls and in-room safe.
Note: The popular Residence Inn at Lake Buena Vista was demolished in early
2000 to make way for other developments. SPIE has contracted reduced rates at

Springhill Suites at Marriott Village is located approximately 2 miles from
the Marriott World Center. Rate includes complimentary continental breakfast,
complimentary parking, and complimentary direct shuttle service to Walt Disney
World. Each suite has a double size sofabed in sitting area, separate eating
area, mini-kitchen with small refrigerator, microwave, sink, and dishes. Suites
have one king bed or two double beds (no separate bedrooms). You will need your
own transportation to and from the Marriott World Center.

Driving to Hotels
Orlando World Center Marriott
Marriott's Orlando World Center is 16 miles west of the Orlando International
Airport via the Beeline Expressway (SR 528) west to Interstate 4 (I-4) west
to Exit 26A (SR 536) east. Hotel will be on the left.
Airport Alternate Route: Follow the signs to Toll Road 417 South, Take
417 South to Exit 6. Go straight at the light, cross SR 536 and hotel will be
on the right.
Springhill Suites at Marriott Village
From Orlando International Airport, take SR 528 (Beeline Expressway) west, to
I-4 (Interstate 4). Take I-4 west to Exit27. At the first light, turn left.
At the next light, Vineland, turn left. The hotel is on the left side of the
street, 8623 Vineland.
Days Inn, Lake Buena Vista Hotel
From Orlando International Airport, take SR528 (Beeline Expressway) west, to
I-4 west, to Exit 27. At the first light, turn right onto Apopka Vineland Rd.
(also called State Rd. 535). The Days Inn is on the right, 12799 Apopka Vineland
Rd. (17 miles from airport).
Doubletree Club, Lake Buena Vista
From Orlando International Airport, take SR528 (Beeline Expressway) west, to
I-4 west, to Exit 27. At the first light, turn right onto Apopka Vineland Rd.
(also called State Rd. 535). Go past the next set of lights which is the entrance
to Disney, to hotel on the left-hand side.
